FINANCE & INSURANCE

The total professional fee is based on the severity of the case, estimated treatment time, projected growth, continued health of the jaw joints and patient cooperation. If the treatment plan changes due to one of these factors, a new financial agreement may be set up.

In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care possible, we have established the following as our financial guidelines. Our fees may be paid as follows:

1. If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a bookkeeping courtesy. Advance payment saves us time, expense in billing and carrying costs, enabling us to provide this valuable service.
2. Financial arrangements can be made to extend your payments over a period of months following an appropriate down payment. These are based on credit history.

If your insurance policy offers orthodontic coverage, we will help you determine the coverage available to you. Also, we will handle your orthodontic insurance benefits for you, provided the insurance company cooperates with us or until the time the patient is no longer covered under the policy. The total professional fee is your responsibility.

The parent(s) with whom the patient resides is solely responsible for the account. In the case of a divorce, we will accept and apply payment from the non-custodial parent to the account when the payment is sent to our office. However, we will not be able to split contracts between the divorced parents. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our financial office is open to you. If you encounter a financial problem that makes it difficult to pay as agreed, please call our office and schedule a financial consultation. We will make every effort to accommodate our patients with temporary difficulties. In cases of serious delinquency, we reserve the right to discontinue treatment.
